I was going to write a book about five fanatical England supporters who travelled from New Zealand and Australia to the FIFA World Cup in South Africa. The trip had to be made, because I was certain that England was going to win the tournament against the odds and in dramatic style. The twist was that I would be writing the book as the events unfolded, via this blog.
As events were to transpire ….. England tripped themselves up yet again …. with some help from the referee, but nevertheless we had a laugh regardless – mostly at my expense. I maintained the blog even after England were knocked out, and we certainly got up to some crazy stuff.

Join Mr B (that’s me!) on my journey to South Africa ….. I am sure you will have a few laughs along the way.
I have not updated the blog entries (but will be adding some more photos), as this provides an insight into what it feels like to follow England at the World Cup.
